Todd Landman (BA, MA, MA, PhD, FRSA) is a Professor of Political Science, and Research Director of the Rights Lab Beacon of Excellence at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.
He is an international expert on development, democracy and human rights with over 130 research monographs, peer-reviewed journal articles, edited volumes, textbooks, book chapters, reports, reviews, and ‘knowledge products’ for the wider international development and human rights community.
He has carried out a wide range of consultancies for inter-governmental agencies, governmental agencies, and international non-governmental organisations. He is invited as a public speaker across numerous events and is a media commentator for the BBC, CNN, TRT World, Al Jazeera, and other outlets. He hosted his own podcast The Rights Track on contemporary human rights problems.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Associate of the Inner Magic Circle with Silver Star, Founding Member of the British Society of Mystery Entertainers, and Visiting Professor of Performance Magic at the University of Huddersfield.
